The Ferris Wheel is going to be situated on a bridge on the river Vardar in between the Stone Bridge and the “Goce Delcev” bridge.
The Baroque-style panoramic wheel is one of the most recent controversial endeavours within the “Skopje 2014” framework. Its construction was made possible only by making radical alterations to the detailed urban plan of Centar Municipality in 2010. The elaboration to the plan says that the construction site near the former Officers’ Hall will be designated for a thematic amusement park, with a ferris wheel providing a panoramic view of the city.
