The monument to St. Clement of Ohrid was erected in the central green area of the boulevard baring the same name across from the Macedonian Orthodox cathedral in December of 2010.
The bronze monument is around 4.5 metres tall, and is placed on a postament of 1.2 metres. The author, Tome Serafimovski, was selected through a public bid and won the first prize of 5000 euro. In line with the practice of the author who has undertaken several projects within the “Skopje 2014” endeavour, the contract with Centar Municipality includes other unrelated costs for the production of the monument: casting, transport, purchasing materials, rent of space, fees for associates and various other fees.
