The multi-storey car park “Macedonian Phalanx” is located in the central urban core of the city, in the immediate vicinity of the Museum of the City of Skopje.
Contrary to the name it bears, the building has a Modernist façade made of prefabricated aluminium elements positioned 50 centimetres away from the building. The building’s designer is Milan Mijalkovic from the Austrian company, PPAG.
This multi-storey car park won a majority of votes in the Internet vote for the Architizer architectural accolade, awarded by the namesake architecture and design platform, which gives awards in recognition of the best architectural solutions and spaces.
