The monument to Justinian I was unveiled on June 16, 2011 as a part of “Skopje 2014” project.
The sculpture of the Byzantine tsar and emperor is made of white marble and is five metres tall, placed on a 3.5 meter postament also made of white marble, featuring bronze reliefs, covering an area of 10.5 square metres.
